The main game now, Tap Tap Revenge 2, is a FREE app and the original, which was once free but no longer is, was the top downloaded free app of 2008. There are also premium (paid) Tap Tap games, which are usually focused on a single artist. Some examples include Coldplay, The Dave Matthews Band, and Lady Gaga.

As of now, Guitar Hero as 4 main games and 4 “expansion games”, which center around either a group of music (Smash Hits, Rock the 80’s) or a specific band (Aerosmith, Metallica). There are also portable games for mobile phones and the Nintendo DS.
As of now, there are 2 main Tap Tap games (1 is paid for), and 6 premium games, which are usually artist specific (Lady Gaga, Nine Inch Nails, Coldplay, ect.)
